Very nice park. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even brought us an extra step when they saw we were a little high on the entry side. Not too bad though, site was fairly level. Most sites appeared to be very level side to side. Ours had a bit of a drop off from pavement to the concrete patio, and I had parked a little too close to the concrete causing a higher than normal first step. As mentioned, the staff quickly fixed this. Pool area was nice and the kiddie pool was large enough for our 2 yr old to play and feel like he was in a "real" pool. Bathhouse was very clean and neat. Store was well stocked, and what they didn't have was within 1/4 mile at local grocery and hardware stores. Sites fairly close together but as would be expected in this type of location. We will definitely stay here again.

As for the campground itself, the sites are large and easy to back into. Some are more level than others. I required a 5" side to side level, but once unhooked, I was perfectly level front to back. No sewer hookups, but a dump station was available. Beautiful view of the river from the sites at the back of the loop, from about site #23 to site #33. Lots of shade trees and a nice breeze helped keep things feel much cooler than the 95 deg temps should feel. This is a perfect location to get away from it all, as it is a bit off the beaten path and the town itself is almost non-existant. Aside from the state park, there is virtually nothing else to do but relax and unwind. Playground was sufficient but more suited to children in the 4 to 10 age range. But lots of space for them to play and be seen without having to hover over them. Bathrooms and showers were older, but clean and served their purpose. There is also a laundry area located near the office. We will come here again.

We stopped here while passing through, and the rate was a little high for just an overnight stop, but the sites were level, and we were assigned a pull through long enough that we did not have to unhook from our tow vehicle. The staff was very friendly. The playground was large and suitable for our 2 yr old. The giant air pillow was a big hit. Interior roads were gravel but wide. Bathrooms and showers were clean, but individually accessed from outside, and the door to the bathroom I used did not latch shut. It appeared that several activities are planned both for young and old.

Very clean campground with some view of Amish fields. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Our site was large and many sites would easily accommodate large rigs, although most of the larger sites in the back section were not shady. Not much of a playground for younger children, but suitable enough for our 2 yr old to have fun. Well stocked camp store and staff were friendly. Pool looked to be clean but we did not use as it was took cool for swimming. If you stay here, be sure to ask about the free guided tour of the Amish countryside, not overly exciting, but was interesting enough that the two hours passed quickly and we were not bored.

Owners were very friendly from the reservation process through the entire stay. Sites were shady and naturally separated due to the trees. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Playground was not "modern" but was suitable for our 2 yr old. Interior roads are a dusty gravel, and if others driving in the campground do not obey the "speed limit" it can get quite dusty. This is why I don't give a 10. Entrance road is also dusty and a little rough. Do NOT depend on your GPS for directions to this campground as they will warn on their websites and also when you call for reservations. While we were in our tow vehicle only, we followed GPS out of curiosity and found some of the roads were 1 lane, rutted and dirt. Follow the directions found on their website or you could very easily do serious damage to your rig.
